Nvidia and OpenAI are doing Strategic Partnership of $100 billion to build a next generation AI infrastructure by deploying a 10 gigawatts (GW) of AI Data Center infrastructure globally.
Nvidia already invested $5 billion in Intel so that high speed links help the GPU and CPU communicate faster and now Nvidia smart move to partner with OpenAI so that AI get better System and Hardware to do research and training on the large scale AI model. It deployed on North America, Europe and Asia.
The first phase is targeted to come online in the second half of 2026 using the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform. During the joint interview of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and President Greg Brockman said this project is a giant project.

According to reports and press release Nvidia first $10 billion investment will be deployed upon the completion of the first Gigawatt and next milestone will be achieved further on market valuations.
Due to this partnership Nvidia stocks rise nearly around ~4% and its valuation closes at $4.5 trillion.

Altman have to focus on these areas : “We have to do great AI research, we have to make these products people want to use, and we have to figure out how to do this unprecedented infrastructure challenge.” beacuse right now 700 million active weekly users are there who are using the OpenAIand to increase and trained more it need the computing power so that it can train the models more and then it can server more customers.
While Intel focused on Chip making and cloud infrastructure and OpenAI focused on building an AI echosystems and both are powered by Nvidia.
